Hurricane Recovery

Many of you have reached out to us about how to help co-ops impacted by Hurricane Helene. At this time, we are aware of various impacts including power, internet and inventory shortages to National Co+op Grocers members French Broad Food Co-op (Asheville, NC), Hendersonville Community Co-op (Hendersonville, NC) and Daily Co-op (Athens, GA). We know some co-op staff have also been personally impacted by property damage and loss. Affected communities are in a state of survival and shock, which means it may be some time before damages can be fully assessed.
 
In partnership with CDF, National Co+op Grocers has set up a matching donation campaign through CDF’s Disaster Recovery Fund to support these members and their staff. National Co+op Grocers will match up to $100,000 in donations made through this link, by co-ops or individuals, through October 31.
