At New Pi, we care about where our food comes from. The farmers we buy from raise their livestock and poultry humanely, with acceptable living conditions and feed.
Because most of our meats come from local producers, we are able to buy and produce fresh cuts from the same animal and herd.
Our sausages are ground and seasoned in-house by our professionally-trained meat cutters. Special sauces are also prepared in-house and featured in our meat packages.
We have a seasoned team of butchers located in our Coralville and Cedar Rapids stores producing all your favorite cuts from whole and partial animal and packaging them for our stores.
Waste Not
We use and sell as much of each animal as we can, offering unique items like organ meats and chicken feet.

At New Pi, nearly all of our beef is grass fed and raised on regenerative farms here in the midwest or on the west coast.
Thousand Hills Lifetime Grazed partners with Renegades, an organization of farmers who practice regenerative agriculture on their farms, to help rebuild healthy soils and diversify forage for the animals in their area.
One of the major benefits of regenerative farming: Pulling carbon out of the atmosphere and back into the soil.
