As the Co-op entered its second decade, maintaining the store facility became an important need to the members who were managing equipment repairs, or relying on second hand, repaired, and gifted equipment to run the store.
The $60 lifetime membership program was introduced creating cashflow that allowed for the purchase of equipment and more timely repair. Membership grew to 900 and product assortment expanded to include meat, coffee, sugar, and beer. Co-op members had an equal voice and vote in important matters at the Co-op.
